Sevilla FC is one of the more constant Spanish teams in the last seasons, since it returned to the Spanish Primera División, it has been growing and for example Sevilla FC appears in the bet to win this year the Spanish Liga ,which would be the corollary of a great job, because this club is playing European Competition ( Uefa Cup and Champions League) since 2003/04 and besides with an incredible results with Juande Ramos as the coach(2 times Uefa Cup´s Champion-2006 and 2007, Champion of the European Supercup in 2007 and besides it was considered the best team of the world in 2007- IFFHS Ranking-).
During the season 2007/2008, Juande Ramos received a “dizzying” offer from Tottenham Hotspur and finally he decided to move to White Hart Lane to start a new adventure and of course the Sevilla FC´supporters were worried, because they lost the “architect” of the team and besides the new coach, Manolo Jimenez-a former Sevilla Fc´s player- was an inexperienced manager and therefore the fans thought that it was a risky bet of football, but Manolo Jimenez, helped by the Sport director, build a good team and he got an UEFA CUP´s place-Sevilla FC will play the Group´s phase(it had fortune in the drawing), after a easy first round against Red Bull Salzburg-.
Of course, one of the Sevilla FC's keys is the job of the Football´director, Ramon Rodriguez Verdejo (Monchi)-now he is helped by Victor Orta, who know very well the football market-, who is an authentic “star”, since he has the virtue to buy cheap and to sell with an expensive price(if we look at his best transfers, we can find names likes José Antonio Reyes (Arsenal FC paid for him 35 million Euros), Dani Alves (FC Barcelona paid 32 million Euros for him to FC Barcelona), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid paid 27.5 million Euros for him), Julio Baptista (Real Madrid paid 20 million Euros for him), Seydou Keita (FC Barcelona paid 14 million Euros for him) and Christian Poulsen (Juventus Torino paid 10 million Euros for him)-so, Sevilla FC received 138.5 million Euros for these players, which means that Sevilla FC, thanks to the Football´s director, has achieved a net gain of 130 million Euros, which is a good sum of money).

This year the Mochi-Orta´ duo bets are: Sébastien Squillaci (Sevilla FC paid 6.5 million Euros to Olympique Lyon), Abdoulaye Konko (Sevilla FC paid 8.5 million Euros to FC Genoa 1893 for this good French right back), Romaric (Sevilla FC paid 8.5 million Euros to Le Mans UC 72 for this powerful midfielder, who can be the new Julio Baptista), Lautaro Acosta (Sevilla FC paid 7 million Euros to Club Atlético Lanús for this Under 20 World and Olympic Champion), Fernando Navarro (Sevilla FC paid 4,7 million Euros to RCD Mallorca) and Aldo Pedro Duscher (Sevilla FC paid 2, 5 million Euros to Racing Santander).
So, this Spanish team has done a very good acquisition and now it has the results, because Sevilla FC is in the Third position of the standing without any defeat and of course it has many chances to arrive until the end of the Liga with options to win the title, although of course the season is very long and many thing can occur, as the injury of Diego Capel-he will be around 3 weeks injured-, who has an excellent future and he is one of the key´players of the team and he is one of the favourite player of the Sevilla FC´s president, Jose Maria del Nido, who is a very particular man, since he is synonym of controversial and character, being one of the more famous President of the Spanish first division teams and of course he has one illusion, to see his Sevilla FC as Spanish Champion.
We will see if this season is the Sevilla FC´year.
