On one side we have a big soccer game on Saturday at 22:00 cet, since two important Spanish League´s team, FC Barcelona-Atletico de Madrid, will play an attractive game, since traditionally these games are synonym of spectacle and many goals and besides we have another incentive, since finally we can see FC Barcelona against a solid and really competitive rival, because Atletico has a powerful team this season and of course it can aspire to great things this season and obviously to win at the Camp Nou´s stadium, since we will see in the Atletico´s squad players like: the good French goalkeeper Grégory Coupet; very good defensive line with players like the majestic Tomas Ujfalusi-he is an excellent player and he is showing a top level like the young experienced John Heitinga; a consistent midfield´ line-although the coach, “El Vasco” Aguirre, has some important absence, like the experienced Maniche, the powerful Ignacio Camacho(he has an excellent future) or the smart Simao- with player as the constant worker Paulo Assunçao-he is one of the best defensive centre midfielder in the Spanish league-or the competitive and dangerous Argentine Maxi Rodriguez; and finally excellent strikers with the fast Sinama-Pongolle (now, after 2 good year at Recreativo de Huelva, he is a mature player and therefore he has forgotten his Liverpool FC´s period, where he was not a confident player) and the superb Sergio Kun Aguero, who tomorrow can have a big day, as he will have in front of a weak defensive, since FC Barcelona has received goals in all the official games against weak rivals this season, so this saturday the FC Barcelona´s coach, Pep Guardiola, can have nightmare and receive a harsh corrective. We will see if Guardiola continues with his rotation´s ideas of players and tactics, which we believe is wrong, because the best thing for FC Barcelona is that he takes a decision about one tacit and come in!
In addition we will enjoy on Saturday at 19.45 GMT with the Portuguese derby between Sporting Lisbon and FC Porto, where we believe that FC Porto, although it received a hard corrective last Tuesday in the Champions League´s game against Arsenal, is the favourite to win this game, since the Argentine duo, Lucho Gonzalez and Lisandro Lopez, is really determinant in the Portuguese Superliga.
Also on Sunday we are expecting a good game, because at 15.00 GMT, we will have the opportunity to see whether the Manchester City is able to win a big club as the Liverpool FC (we think that it will not be able to do it, since, as we said in another article of this blog, City has some lack in the squad, especially in the defensive centre midfielder´s (and besides Michael Johnson is injured) and at the moment when it has played against solid team, City has not won-for example it lost when it played against Aston Villa (4-2) and against Chelsea FC (1-3)). We liked the FC Liverpool´s play against Everton, because for once we saw that Rafa Benitez was brave in a game away from Anfield Road and he bet on the quality player; this is the line, Rafa! and now to follow it.
In addition we will also follow the Italian “Calcio” to see if AC Milan (on Sunday at 20:30 cet against Cagliari) continues in the right line-by the way, finally Shevchenko scored last Thursday a goal with AC Milan this season, although of course Pato must continue as the first choice for Ancelotti)- if José Mourinho (Saturday at 20:30 cet Inter Milan-Bologna) clarifies his idea about the Inter´s tactic, a 4-3-3 or the classical 4-4-2, and of course the Brazilian Mancini(Quaresma can be a valid option, when he have more confidence) must be in the field, because the team stalls without him in the field; we will also see if Ranieri is courageous and he take a difficult decision:Nevded and Del Piero on the bench and Sebastiano Giovinco in the field(we will have the answer on Sunday at 15:00 cet –an attractive Juventus-Palermo-), and also whether the AS Roma (Sunday at 15:00 against Siena) continues on the correct line and of course we can not forget that this Saturday at 18.00 c.e.t the spectacle is guarantee with the Laziale duo, Pandev-Zarate, in the field against Lecce. But of course, we can watch other different sport events this weekend, since for example the Handball´s EHF Champions League starts this weekend and we can watch games of the best European teams like the current European Champion, Balonmano Ciudad Real with Rutenka in the squad, or German THW Kiel with the brilliant Nikola Karabatic and Kim Andersson in the squad, or FC Barcelona with David Barrufet and Iker Romero in the squad, or the Portland San Antonio with Renato Vugrinec and Kristian Kjelling in the squad,or the Hungarian MKB Veszprem with Dejan Peric in the squad, or the Slovenian Cejle Pivovarna Lasko with Renato Sulic and Eduard Kokšarov in the squad,or the RK Croatia Osiguranje Zagreb with the masterful Ivano Balic and Mirza Dzomba in the squad,or the HSV Hamburg with Blazenko Lakovic, Pascal Hens and Bertrand Gille in the squad, or the Flensburg-Handewitt with Alen Muratovic and Lars Christiansen in the squad- besides the European Basketball starts too this weekend in some leagues like the Spanish League-although it has suffered the departure to the NBA of Marc Gasol-to Memphis Grizzlies- and Rudy Fernandez-to Portland Trail Blazers-, the Spanish league will continue to offer a high level with players like: the Serbian Igor Rakocevic, the Brazilian Tiago Splitter(Tau Vitoria´s players), or Juan Carlos "la Bomba" Navarro, Turkish Ersan Ilyasova or David Andersen (Regal FC Barcelona´s players), or Louis Bullock and the spectacular Jeremiah Massey (Real Madrid´s players),or the Serbian Vule Avdalovic (Pamesa Valencia´s player), or"the wonderful kid” Ricky Rubio (DKV Joventut´s player) or Marcus Haislip (Unicaja Malaga´s player)- and the Italian League, where the powerful Montepaschi Siena of Rimantas Kaukenas, Ksistof Lavrinovic or Terrel McIntyre is the team to beat(the Siena´s main rivals will be teams like AJ Milano with players like Massimo Bulleri and David Hawkins and like Lottomatica Roma with players like the Slovenian Sani Becirovic and Primoz Brezec) – besides we have in Brazil the World Championship of Futsal or other events like the MotoGP´s race at the Australian Phillip Island´s circuit-we will see a new “battle” between the new world champion, "Il Dottore," Valentino Rossi and the Australian Casey Stoner- or like the race of the World Rally Championship in Catalonia, where we will see another exhibition of the superb French pilot Sébastien Loeb.
So, we have many things and just enjoy it!
Cheers,
J&F
